THANK YOU!
The Screamin' Cucumbers
Well that was fun! Seriously, when you got men giving free 'horsey' rides... I'm going to leave it at that. With the economy and all packing a bar wall to wall is a tough job. But with a fantastic location like Trinity has, it's hard to not to pack the place. Hell they even know what a Nutty Irishman is (if you haven't had one try it, it's like butter).
Big thanks to the management and staff at Trinity. We love working with a venue that has people who know what they are doing and do it well. We can't wait to set up a line of gigs with you.
We want to thank Kerry and the and the Sandee's crew for hosting the evening with the Cukes. As always, we had a great time. Couple shout outs (someone needs to invent a new term for this). Mike, Tracy, and Chris K, always good to see you guys. All our loyal Sheboygan Cukesters, thanks for starting off 2010 with us. Kelly, Becky, Gil, Tina, Alex, Sue, Amanada, & Chrystal (our free t-shirt winner) welcome to Screamin' Cucumber family!
For the last 3 years we've donated our services to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Walk for a Cure event. This is held every year at the Milwaukee Zoo. JDRF is the leader in research associated with finding a cure for type 1 diabetes.
This was only our second time at Papa's Social Club but we already rank it up there with our favorite place to play. Built in PA and Sound man. Big stage. Swweeeetttt. We had some of our loyal Cuke-a-manics show up but we need to get everyone to come on out to Papa's. Trust us, it's a great place to catch the band.
First, thanks to our new friends at Papa's. Great group of people. It's fun for us to play at bars that are built to host live music.
Second, let's send our our props to A-Ron, Jen, the band spouses (after 6 years of gigin' they still come out to the shows), Soup, Julie, Paul, Aden, our free beer on the Cukes winners, Ashley, Kim, and our too sweet and too sexy door girl Lisa.
One final thing to mention. Elise wanted to make sure we thanked Naomi for coming out. Her husband Jason is in Iraq right now. Putting aside the politics, the Cukes are 100% behind our troops. We hope Jason and all of our troops stay safe and come home soon.
Check out the magical still action photos of the show Papa's Social Club Pictures. We are always blown away by the staff (Kerry and Jessie) and patrons at Sandee's. We know we don't get up to Sheboygan enough but we'll see what we can do about that in the near future.
We want to send a shout out to the lucky 'have a beer on the Cukes' winners: Michelle and Tina. One last happy birthday wish to Tina and Vicki. We love it when people party with us on their b-day
Mike & Traci (Cuke family), Matt, Charlotte, Connie, Francis, Jana, Steve, Heather, Elizabeth, Tyler, Katie, Bruce, thanks for signing up on the email list. We promise not to bug you too much.
Kristen thanks for helping us out with the pictures!
The weather was perfect, the monkies were "ohh ohh ohh-ing", and Brandon was finally able to return to the Zoo after that incident with the tigers and cheetahs. Really, we can't go into that here. But we are proud to have supported the local chapter of the JDRF for the third year in a row.
Check out the action in glorious still frame techmology!
Special thanks to Andrea and everyone else who helped set up the event. This is a huge event and by all accounts, it went extemely well. Thanks for having us and we can't wait to help out again next year.
The old site was getting pretty dusty so we decided to change things up a bit. Enjoy!
